February 21, Fineko/abc.az. From September to October 2025, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plans to operate a direct charter flight between Baku and Incheon (South Korea), ABC.AZ reports, quoting Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to South Korea, Ramin Hasanov.

The diplomat expressed a hope that regular flights would follow after the charter services.

"A direct flight will undoubtedly boost tourism, as well as cultural and academic exchanges, and overall people-to-people connections between our countries. We will continue actively promoting and supporting mutual participation in forums and exhibitions, creating platforms for professionals and entrepreneurs to engage and explore new opportunities for cooperation," he stated.
