February 13, Fineko/abc.az. The digitalization of the tax system has made an important contribution to minimizing the likelihood of fiscal evasion and strengthening tax control.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting State Customs Committee’s chair Shahin Bagirov as saying this during his speech at Baku forum "Tax Service - 25: Sustainable Development & Effective Transformation".

Bagirov pointed out that the reforms carried out contribute to development of the Azerbaijani economy, the growth of financial security of the state and strengthening of country's position in international trade: "The tasks the Tax Service faces are being successfully implemented, and modern services developed on the basis of international experience, measures to support entrepreneurs, principles of digitalization and transparency play a special role in this process."
