February 5, Fineko/abc.az. French oil & gas company TotalEnergies reduced its net profit by 22% in the 4th quarter of 2024 compared with Q4 of 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the company, net profit for October-December 2024 amounted to $3.956 billion. Adjusted profit fell from $5.226 billion a year earlier to $4.406 billion.

Company's earnings for Q4 fell by 14% to $47.116 billion.

Last quarter, daily hydrocarbon production decreased to 2.43 million barrels of oil equivalent. Over Q4 of 2023, this figure reached 2.462 million b/d of oil equivalent.

In the 1st quarter of 2025, the French company plans to increase production to 2.5-2.55 million b/d of oil equivalent.
