December 26, Fineko/abc.az. Today, at the General Assembly of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Turkic States in Baku, the presidency in the organization passed from Turkey to Azerbaijan, President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan Mammad Musayev.
ABC.AZ informs that the Assembly participants wished him success.
The Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Turkic States was established in May 2019 in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, with the support of relevant employers' organizations of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) member countries, including the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Currently, the union includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. Hungary and Northern Cyprus are observers.
The main objectives of the union are to facilitate trade in the region by eliminating factors that hinder the exchange of goods and services between the member countries, promote the development of an investment environment in order to increase foreign investment, as well as ensure mutual cooperation and assistance in resolving commercial disputes that may arise between companies of the Turkic states.
