November 27, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, Gazprom plans to continue gas supplies to Transnistria at the same level - about 5.7 million cu m per day, or about 2 bcm a year.
ABC.AZ reports that at a meeting between Gazprom chairman Alexey Miller and Moldovan Energy Minister Viktor Parlikov in St. Petersburg on November 25, they discussed the possibility of further exports via the usual route - through Ukraine, but with the delivery of Russian gas at the country's border, after which the buyer will independently pay for transit. An alternative option was also considered: transportation of Russian gas to Transnistria through Turkey.
According to sources, a decision on the route may be made by the end of December.
Neither Gazprom nor the Moldovan side have yet negotiated with the operator of the Ukrainian gas transportation system about the possibility of using its capacities.
