Import of bus spare parts in Azerbaijan is exempt from customs duties

 November 20, Fineko/abc.az. The sale of buses manufactured in the country, as well as the import of spare parts of buses for production purposes on the basis of a supporting document will be exempt from VAT.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Tax Code.

According to the draft, the sale of buses manufactured on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the import of spare parts of buses for production purposes by legal entities on the basis of a supporting document of the body (structure) established by the relevant executive authority, will be exempt from VAT from January 1, 2025 for a period of 8 years.
