State Budget increases financing for Social Protection Fund and CHI Fund - Reason

November 19, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, State Budget stipulates the financing of 1.6 billion manats for the State Social Protection Fund (368 million manats, or 29.9% more than in the current year) and 1.41 billion manats for the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund (42.4 million manats, or 3.1% more).

ABC.AZ reports, referring to Accounts Chamber’s conclusion on Draft State Budget 2025, that increase of transfers to the SSPF is conditioned by indexation of pension costs in accordance with the expected growth rates of the average monthly salary in the country for the current year, and increase of transfers to the CHI Fund in accordance with the expected population growth next year and expected percentage of inflation at the end of this year.

Thus, in Draft State Budget 2025, the fee for compulsory medical insurance per capita was increased by 2.7% in accordance with expected inflation by the end of this year and reached 124.1 manats.
