November 19, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, commercial gas production in Azerbaijan will total 37.8 bcm, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Accounts Chamber’s conclusion on the Bill on State Budget 2025.

According to the document, the figure is 3.8% more than last year.

Commercial gas production in Azerbaijan is expected to increase by 1.6% in 2025 versus 2024 and reach 38.4 bcm.

Over Jan-Oct 2024, country’s gas production reached 41.625 bcm (4.7% more against the 2023 same term), including commercial gas production grew by 6.8% up to 31.727 bcm.

In 2023, the country extracted 48.496 bcm of gas (3.8% more than a year earlier), including 36.413 bcm of commercial gas (4.2% more than a year ago).
