November 16, Fineko/abc.az. As of November 1, 2024, there were 1,583,592 taxpayers in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Tax Service that the indicator is 5.6% more against the data as of November 1, 2023.

87.1% of taxpayers are individuals, 12.9% are legal entities and other organizations. Over Jan-Oct 2024, the number of individuals has increased by 5.4% and legal entities - by 7.3%.

At the end of October, the number of registered commercial organizations reached 187,674 (8% more than a year ago).

As of November 1, the number of active VAT payers among registered commercial organizations totaled 39,399 (a rise of 15.4% compared with Jan-Oct 2023). For VAT payers, the total registration was 32.2%.
