In 2008 this figure was at the level of 46%. As a result of the work carried out, the number of subscribers, the number of which reached 71,000 in 2009, increased up to 870,000 as of December 31, 2023. In addition, between 2007 and 2023, the company installed up to 11,200 km of new gas pipelines.
According to Forbes, SOCAR Energy Georgia is one of the largest companies in Georgia. During its activity, the company invested $772.8 million in the Georgian economy and paid taxes to the State Budget in the amount of $2.036 billion.
