October 18, Fineko/abc.az. Shares of American corporation Nvidia has updated the maximum on Thursday, October 17. At the moment, company's shares were growing more than by 3%, setting a record at $140.89.

ABC.AZ informs that growth of Nvidia securities was facilitated by a report from Taiwan's TSMC, which showed strong results in the 3rd quarter of 2024 due to the ongoing boom in artificial intelligence. Its net profit increased by 54% for the reported term.

On October 17, Nvidia shares closed up 0.89%. At that, earlier this week, company's securities fell sharply by 4% amid reports that the U.S. may limit sales of advanced AI chips from American manufacturers to some countries.
