October 14, Fineko/abc.az. In academic year 2024-2025, 47 foreign students received the right to study at higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan within the intergovernmental scholarship programs (SMEs), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Agency for Science & Higher Education.

It was noted that 36 of them are citizens of China, 5 – Kazakhstan, 4 – Tajikistan, 1 – Serbia and 1 – Romania.

These individuals have had the opportunity to receive education in Azerbaijan at various levels of education. This figure was 62% (29 people) more than last year.
