September 30, Fineko/abc.az. Construction of 110 kV high-voltage transmission lines Khankendi-1 and Khankendi-2 has begun. Construction of a closed-type substation with capacity of 110,35,10 KV has been launched in the city of Khankendi.

ABC.AZ reports that all technologies will be introduced at the new substation, from the modern fire protection system SERJI to cybersecurity.

A warehouse, a boiler room, a site for repairing machinery and other facilities are also being built on the territory of Khankendi substation.

Work at Khankendi substation is scheduled for comletion in the coming months.
