September 27, Fineko/abc.az. Representatives of Equatorial Guinea held a meeting with LUKOIL to discuss projects in the field of gas exploration, production and transportation.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Minister of Mines & Hydrocarbons of Equatorial Guinea, Antonio Oburu Ondo.

The minister clarified that it is planned to carry out a preliminary assessment of the work by this date.

In 2019, LUKOIL and Rosgeologia signed memoranda of understanding with the Ministry of Mines & Hydrocarbons of Equatorial Guinea.

The Russian company participated in the licensing round for sites in Equatorial Guinea in 2019, but that round was unsuccessful for all companies.
