September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Mediators began to offer factoring to businesses as a tool for international settlements, which are becoming increasingly complicated due to sanctions.
ABC.AZ reports that there are already precedents for creation of factoring companies in some friendly countries, and this scheme is gaining momentum.
According to the mediators, the scheme looks like this: the factoring company brings together the supplier and the buyer and they carry out, in fact, a set–off of the rights of claim: the buyer receives the goods, the seller receives the money, and the factoring company receives the commission.
The average commission of a payment agent for an international payment is considered to be 4-6%, but small amounts are more expensive.
Factoring will be successful for a certain period of time, suggests Ivan Tikhonenok, head of the banking group at Amond & Smith law firm, since it allows to legally, within the international law, pay for goods and services.
