September 10, Fineko/abc.az. As of September 1, 2024, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 3% compared with the beginning of the year - up to 784,800, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service (under the Ministry of Economy).

Compared with early 2024, the number of active VAT-payers grew by 10.4% up to 50,400.

The number of active business entities (facilities) rose by 3.1% against the beginning of the year up to 211,000.
