According to ABC.AZ, the tech giant has recently drawn attention for paying its AI-specialized employees exceptionally high salaries.

In addition to investing billions of dollars in major AI initiatives like OpenAI, Microsoft established a new organization called Microsoft AI earlier this year. Positioned as the brain behind all of Microsoft's AI activities, this department has become the center of a salary controversy.

According to sources close to Microsoft, employees in the AI department earn an average of $377,000 per year – $120,000 more than their colleagues in other departments. While the AI team is undoubtedly pleased with this salary difference, employees in other divisions are categorically dissatisfied with the situation.
