July 17, Fineko/abc.az. As a result of the VAT Refund Project, the share of non-cash payments in the field of retail trade, catering and medical services has increased significantly.

Today on portal edvgerial.az about 3 million users have been registered to refund part of VAT paid for purchased goods.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service that 603.7 million manats of VAT paid for goods purchased at retail and catering facilities, as well as for services rendered by healthcare institutions, were returned to consumers.

Over Jan-Jun 2024, a total of 253,405,778 cash receipts refunded the amount of VAT for 88 million manats.
