July 17, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) intends to acquire 51% of the shares of Azər Türk Bank (ATB).

ABC.AZ reports with reference to SOCAR that the matter was put up for discussion at a meeting of the company's supervisory board.

At the meeting chaired by the head of the Supervisory Board, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, a presentation was organized on the purchase of 51% of shares of Azər Türk Bank and on further steps in this direction.

There was also a presentation on the work done in the Mining & Development business segment, the results achieved and the upcoming tasks in this area.
