ABC.AZ reports that the list was published by Global Index.

As a result of research, it turned out that 138 million tons of wheat are produced in China per year.

Here is the list of the largest wheat producers in the world:

1. China: 138 million tons

2. India: 108 million tons

3. Russia: 104 million tons

4. USA: 45 million tons

5. Australia: 36 million tons

6. France: 35 million tons

7. Canada: 34 million tons

8. Pakistan: 26 million tons

9. Germany: 23 million tons

10. Argentina: 22 million tons

11. Ukraine: 21 million tons

12. Turkey: 20 million tons

13. Kazakhstan: 16 million tons

14. UK: 15 million tons

15. Poland: 13 million tons
