July 1, Fineko/abc.az. Russian airline Utair has expanded its flight program to Baku.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the air carrier that flights from Surgut to Baku are now operated 3 times a week - on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
For the last couple of years, this flight has been operated twice a week.
In addition, the company has increased the number of flights from Tyumen to Baku to twice a week - on Wednesdays and Fridays.
"This summer we have doubled the flight program to Azerbaijan. In addition to Baku, Ganja and Nakhichevan, a new destination has appeared in our schedule - Lankaran. All flights are very popular with our passengers," commented Oleg Semenov, the president of Utair Passenger Airlines.
Currently, Utair operates flights to Azerbaijan in the following directions: to Baku - from Grozny, Moscow, Samara, St. Petersburg, Surgut, Tyumen, Ufa; to Ganja, Nakhchivan, Lankaran - from Moscow.
