June 28, Fineko/abc.az. A special paralympic scholarship will be provided to athletes in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the draft amendments to the Law on Physical Culture & Sports, which was included in the agenda of today's meeting of the parliament.

By the proposed amendment to Article 59 of the law (assessment of the work of high-class athletes and sports workers), citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan may be awarded special Olympic and Paralympic scholarships, individual scholarships, state awards and honorary titles in accordance with the procedure established by law for great merits in the field of physical culture and sports and high achievements.
