June 14, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2024, the Azerbaijani enterprises manufacturing machinery and equipment, trailers and semi-trailers made output for 297.1 million manats.

Compared with Jan-May 2023, the production of other vehicles declined by 18.4% and machinery and equipment by 19.5%, while the production of cars, trailers and semi-trailers increased by 31.3%.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that for Jan-May 2024, the country produced 1,389 automobiles (193 vehicles less versus Jan-May 2023). As of 1 June 2024, the stock of finished products is 276 motor vehicles.

During this period, tractor manufacture dropped by 11.3% compared with Jan-May 2023. The stock of finished products as of 1 June 2024 is 10 tractors.
