June 6, Fineko/abc.az. Natural gas will be consumed in Europe at least until 2050.

ABC.AZ reports that Advisor to SOCAR Vice President Sariya Bunyatova during her speech at the Baku Energy Forum, held within the Baku Energy Week.

"Natural gas will be consumed in Europe at least until 2050, this is a sign for us," she said.

Buniyatova added that taking into account the plans for industrial development, gas consumption in Azerbaijan is expected to increase.

She pointed out that the interest of foreign investors in the oil and gas sector of Azerbaijan has been growing recently. For example, ADNOC (UAE) acquired a 30% stake in Absheron Project.
