June 4, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Turkish state oil & gas company BOTAŞ have signed agreements in the field of energy.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about this on social network X.

"The strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Türkiye is successfully developing in the field of economics and energy, as well as in all spheres. The agreements signed in the field of energy between SOCAR and BOTAŞ with the participation of Turkish Minister of Energy & Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar will give an additional impetus to strengthening energy security in the region," the minister said.
