Local executive authorities connected to digital document management

May 17, Fineko/abc.az. As part of the transition to a "paperless government", another important step has been taken. Since May 13, 2024, all local executive authorities have been integrated into the digital document management subsystem.

Now the exchange of documents in 85 local executive authorities will be carried out through the subsystem in real time and in a secure form. This integration is aimed at simplifying administrative processes and improving operational efficiency in local executive authorities.

The digital document management subsystem was developed and put into operation by the Agency for Innovation & Digital Development (IRIA) in accordance with Presidential Decree #2279 from August 1, 2023.

To date, more than 1,100 institutions, including government agencies and subordinate entities, have been integrated into the subsystem.

With the help of the digital document management subsystem, more than 500,000 documents are circulated between institutions every month. Thus, along with increasing the efficiency of document exchange, the amount of paper use is minimized.
