Ankara increases volume of two gas storage facilities

May 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Turkish authorities have decided to expand the storage capacity of natural gas in two underground gas storage facilities.

ABC.AZ reports that the Silivri storage facility has storage capacity of 4.6 bcm, and the Tuz Gelu - 1.2 bcm. By 2028, they will accommodate 12 bcm of gas.

Turkish state-owned company BOTAŞ is already working on this, namely, increasing the generating capacity next to the storage facility.
