May 1, Fineko/abc.az. The prospects of exporting electricity from Central Asian countries to Europe through the territory of Azerbaijan have been discussed in Tashkent.

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about this on his account on social network X.

The minister noted that during his working visit to Uzbekistan, together with Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, he took part in a trilateral meeting of the ministers of economy and energy of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

"We took part in discussions on the prospects of exporting electricity from Central Asian countries to Europe through the territory of Azerbaijan. They also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation within the Joint Communique of the heads of the relevant ministries of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, coordinating the development of energy systems in the countries of the region and strengthening joint activity on green energy projects," the minister stressed.
