Cost of oil goes down, and Brent is at $87.51 a barrel

April 29, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are falling in Monday’s trading after growth following the past week.

The price of July’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange fell by $0.70 (0.79%) to $87.51 per barrel by 09:20. Following the trading on April 26, Brent crude futures for July rose by $0.44 (0.50%) to $88.21 per barrel.

The price of June’s WTI oil futures on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell by $0.69 (0.82%) to $83.16 per barrel by 09:20. Following the trading on April 26, the price of WTI crude oil futures for June increased by $0.28 (0.34%) to $83.85 per barrel.

Following the past week, the price of Brent crude oil increased by 2.53% and WTI oil by 1.98%.
