April 25, Fineko/abc.az. Armenia can potentially become a recipient of Azerbaijani gas, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

He added that such cooperation is natural in terms of proximity and infrastructure. Potentially, Armenia can also be a recipient of Azerbaijani gas, especially given the very preferential price of gas supplied to Georgia.

"The Zangezur corridor was considered not only as a means for railway or automobile communication, but also as a potential route for communication lines. Potentially, it could even be a gas pipeline," the Azerbaijani leader said.

President Aliyev said that Azerbaijan has an agreement with Iran to supply Nakhchivan with natural gas. In addition, Baku is financing the construction of another pipeline that will supply Azerbaijani gas from Türkiye to Nakhchivan.
