April 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades keep on rising in Monday’s trading after growth in the 1st quarter.

The price of June’s Brent crude futures atthe London ICE Futures exchange increased by $0.28 (0.32%) to $87.28 per barrel by 09:27. Following the trading on March 28, Brent crude futures for June grewby $1.59 (1.86%) to $87.00 per barrel.

The price of WTI crude oil futures for May on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) rose by $0.30 (0.36%) up to $83.47 per barrel by 09:27. Following the trading on March 28, the price of WTI oil futures for May increased by $1.82 (2.24%) to $83.17 per barrel.

In March, Brent crude oil rose by 4.6% and WTI oil by 6.3%. In the 1st quarter, prices grew by 13.6% and 16.1%.
