March 29, Fineko/abc.az. Brent and WTI oil prices ended March and the first quarter of 2024 with strong growth.

ABC.AZ reports that in March, Brent rose by 4.6% and WTI - by 6.3%. In the 1st quarter, prices grew by 13.6% and 16.1%, according to Dow Jones Market data.

Trading of both brands is not held on Friday, as the exchanges are closed due to Good Friday.

The price of June’s Brent futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange increased by $1.59 (1.86%) up to $87.00 per barrel at the close of the market on Thursday.

WTI crude futures for May on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) yesterday rose by $1.82 (2.24%) to $83.17 per barrel.
