Oil price goes up, Brent - $84.92 per barrel

March 27, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Wednesday’s trading, based on American Petroleum Institute’s (API) data on growth of reserves in the United States.

The price of the June Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures exchange decreased by $0.71 (0.83%) to $84.92 per barrel by 09:30. Following the trading on March 26, Brent crude futures for June fell by $0.45 (0.52%) to $85.63 per barrel.

The price of WTI crude oil futures for May on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:30 fell by $0.72 (0.88%) to $80.90 per barrel. Following the trading on March 26, the price of WTI oil futures for May dropped by $0.33 (0.40%) to $81.62 per barrel.

According to API data, oil reserves in the United States increased by 9.337 million barrels in the week ending March 22.
