March 18, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Monday’s trading after a rise following the past week.

The price of May’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange grew by $0.32 (0.37%) to $85.66 per barrel by 08:52. Following the trading on March 15, Brent crude futures for May fell by $0.08 (0.09%) to $85.34 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for April on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.40 (0.49%) to $81.44 per barrel by 08:52. Following the trading on March 15, the price of WTI oil futures for April decreased by $0.22 (0.27%) to $81.04 per barrel.

Over the past week, Brent crude oil rose by 3.97% and WTI by 3.88%.
