March 13, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2024, motor gasoline and diesel fuel for 449.4 million manats were sold to consumers in the retail trade network in Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the indicator is by 10% more in annual comparison.
Last year, motor gasoline and diesel fuel were sold to consumers in the retail chain in the amount of 3.06 bn manats, in annual comparison this figure increased by 8.1%.
Oil in Azerbaijan is processed at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery, the foundation of which was laid in 1953. The plant fully satisfies the republic's demand for petroleum products. Reconstruction and modernization work is currently underway at the refinery.
