March 12, Fineko/abc.az. Based on the positive result of laboratory and operational tests of meters produced at the Ganja Instrument-Making Plant, the SOCAR management decided to produce mechanical gas meters at this plant.

ABC.AZ reports that the Memorandum of cooperation was signed between Azerigaz and the Ganja Instrument-Making Plant to start production of local mechanical gas meters. According to the agreement reached, the Ganja Instrument-Making Plant will produce 200,000 gas meters in the first year, and 400,000 ones in subsequent years.

In this regard, additional technological equipment was purchased at the plant, and a production complex with an area of more than 1,000 sq m was built.
