March 12, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are planning to establish an investment fund for $300 million.
ABC.AZ reports that Nurlan Zhakupov, chairman of board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC noted that the investment fund will finance projects of interest to both countries.
"The Fund will also provide financing for priority projects in various sectors of the economy of the Central Asian countries, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Türkiye. This will strengthen cooperation between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan and bring us income. Because it will be a purely commercial investment fund," Zhakupov said.
Today in Baku, director general of the Azerbaijani Investment Holding Ruslan Alikhanov and chairman of board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Nurlan Zhakupov signed an agreement on strategic partnership between the AIH and Samruk-Kazyna JSC.
