March 6, Fineko/abc.az. BP revealed the volume of investments in its projects implemented in Azerbaijan and the region.
Tamam Bayatly, the head of the press service of BP-Azerbaijan, informed that BP and its partners have invested more than $84 bn in its projects implemented in Azerbaijan and the region so far.
She noted that BP is now planning to implement its green energy project (construction of a solar power plant in Jabrayil) in Azerbaijan, this project meets the company's goal of achieving zero neutrality and Azerbaijan's interests in the development of the renewable energy sector.
"This project will be fully funded by BP. However, the issue of participation of other financial organizations is not excluded and if there is such an intention on their part, this issue will be considered," Bayatli said.
