March 4, Fineko/abc.az. The prices for oil of benchmark grades are changing in different directions in Monday’s trading after the rise following the past week.

The price of May’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange increased by $0.02 (0.02%) to $83.57 per barrel by 09:22. Following the trading on March 1, Brent crude futures for May rose by $1.64 (2.00%) to $83.55 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for April on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:22 dropped by $0.08 (0.10%) to $79.89 per barrel. Following the trading on March 1, the price of WTI oil futures for April grew by $1.71 (2.19%) to $79.97 per barrel.

Following the past week, Brent crude oil rose by 3.4% and WTI oil by 4.6%.
