February 9, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Friday’s trading after a jump of more than 3% following the previous session.

The price of April’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures exchange dropped by $0.23 (0.28%) to $81.40 per barrel by 09:30. Following the trading on February 8, Brent crude futures for April rose by $2.42 (3.06%) to $81.63 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for March on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell by $0.08 (0.10%) to $76.14 per barrel by 09:30. Following the trading on February 8, the price of March’s WTI oil futures increased by $2.36 (3.20%) to $76.22 per barrel.

This week, Brent and WTI have risen in price more than by 5%.
