February 8, Fineko/abc.az. The trend towards increasing natural gas production continues in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that since 2005, there has been high and moderate dynamics of growth in the production of natural fuel in different years, although in the early years of the beginning of a new era, there was decrease in natural gas production.

For example, despite the fact that in 2004 there was decline of 2.6% against the previous year, in 2005 there was a rise of 14.8%, in 2006 - by 58.3%, and in 2007 - by 85.7%. Over the past few years, that is, since 2021, annual production has exceeded 40 bcm. And for Jan-Dec 2023, 48.5 bcm of natural gas were produced.
