February 5, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising in Monday’s trading after last week’s drop.

The price of April’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange increased by $0.35 (0.45%) to $77.68 per barrel by 09:10. Following the trading on February 2, Brent crude futures for April fell by $1.37 (1.74%) to $77.33 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for March on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) grew by $0.25 (0.35%) to $72.53 per barrel by 09:10. Following the trading on February 2, the price of March’s WTI oil futures declined by $1.54 (2.09%) to $72.28 per barrel.

Following the past week, Brent crude oil dropped by 6.78% and WTI oil by 7.35%.
