February 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing rising in Thursday’s trading after a drop the day before.

The price of April’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange rose by $0.29 (0.36%) to $80.84 per barrel by 09:19. Following the trading on January 31, Brent crude futures for April fell by $1.95 (2.36%) to $80.55 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for March on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) grew by $0.31 (0.41%) to $76.16 per barrel by 09:19. Following the trading on January 31, the price of March’s WTI oil futures declined by $1.97 (2.53%) to $75.85 per barrel.

In the first month of 2024, Brent oil rose by 6.06% and WTI oil by 5.86%.
