January 29, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2023, Azerbaijan imported 693 tons of almonds from foreign countries for $3.744 million ($1.136 million or 43.6% more in value terms versus Jan-Nov 2022 and by 235 tons or 51.2% in quantitative terms).

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the country imported 459 tons of almonds for $2.608 million for Jan-Nov 2022.

The import price for 1 ton of almonds was $5,399 for 11 months of 2023 and $5,685 for the same period of 2022. Last year, prices fell by $286 (5%).

In general, the import of 1 kg of almonds for Jan-Nov 2023 was 9.18 manats, and for Jan-Nov 2022 - 9.66 manats.
