January 17, Fineko/abc.az. Gold production in Azerbaijan totaled 2,614 kg for 2023 (17.7% less than in 2022), ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee.

Silver production reached 3,762.2 kg (decline of 50.5%).

In December 2023, production of gold amounted to 106.1 kg (in November - 376.7 kg), silver – 91.1 kg (in November – 372 kg).

The extracted gold and silver were transferred for processing.

According to statistics, as of January 1, 2024, there are 321.2 kg of mined gold and 121 kg of silver in the warehouses of manufacturing companies.
