Kazakhstan plans to pump 1.5 million tons of oil via BTC in 2024

January 17, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakhstan plans to export 1.5 million tons of oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) route in 2024, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.

In 2024, oil and gas condensate production in Kazakhstan is planned at the level of 90.3 million tons. The volume of exports is expected to reach 70.8 million tons, including 56.7 million tons through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium system.

As Kazakhstan’s national operator on Kaztransoil main oil pipeline reported earlier, in 2023, oil supplies via BTC route increased 5.5-fold up to 1.39 million tons.
