December 22, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia imported 1,558,505.37 tons of gas from Azerbaijan for $279.057 million for Jan-Nov 2023, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Georgian National Statistics Office. The value of products imported from Azerbaijan declined by $19.414 million or 6.5% in annual terms, and the volume by 64,477.09 tons or 3.97%.

For comparison, over Jan-Nov 2022, Georgia imported 1,622,982.46 tons of gas from Azerbaijan for $298.47 million.

Azerbaijan provided 71.88% of Georgia's total gas demand.
