December 19, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 3.9 bn kWh of electricity for $379.3 million for Jan-Nov 2023, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

The export figures grew by $314.4 million (5.8-fold) in value terms and by 826.76 million kWh (4.7-fold) in quantitative terms.

Over Jan-Nov 2022, Azerbaijan exported 826.76 million kWh of electricity abroad for $64.859 million.

Thus, the export price for every 1,000 kWh of electricity this year reached $97, and for Jan-Nov 2022 - $78. This figure has increased by $18 this year (by 23.2%).

Over Jan-Nov 2023, the share of electricity in total exports made up 1.20%, and the share of non-oil products in exports was 12.50% and for Jan-Nov 2022 the figures were 0.18% and 2.41%, respectively.
