Oil price goes up, and Brent is at $76.82 a barrel

December 18, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Monday's trading.

The price of February’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange grew by $0.27 (0.35%) to $76.82 per barrel by 09:20. Following the trading on December 15, Brent crude futures for February fell by $0.08 (3.16%) to $76.55 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for January on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.31 (0.43%) to $71.74 per barrel by 09:20. Following the trading on December 15, the price of January’s WTI oil futures dropped by $0.15 (0.21%) to $71.43 per barrel.

Following the past week, Brent crude oil rose by 0.94% and WTI by 0.28%.
