As part of the project "Accelerating production from Umid-1 platform located at Umid gas condensate field, restrictions in transport infrastructure were lifted, and daily production capacity of the platform was increased to 8.1 million cu m, ABC.AZ informs with reference to SOCAR's annual report (based on the results of 2022).

According to the report, within this project, work was fulfilled on reconstruction of Umid-1 platform, construction of 20 offshore transport pipelines, construction of the bypass part of Dashgil-2 terminal, construction of 40 onshore gas transmission pipelines and construction of gas receiving infrastructure on the territory owned by the UBOC operating company at the head installations in Sangachal. With commissioning of wells U1-20 and U1-22, it is planned to bring the platform to full capacity.
